Denise's Story

Life My Kids I have three children: a daughter, and two sons. I reside in Spring, Texas, and stay busy with the house, the yard, and the pets. My Job I'm a Branch Office Manager to a member firm of the NYSE. I am currently single and enjoying my independence. I go out with a group of friends a couple of times a week, and am having a blast! Workplace I've had a wide range of jobs before settling into the career I am in now. I started out working in a convenient store, then moved to a retail store in Deerbrook mall, then on to another retail store in Sharpstown Mall. I've also worked in a...Expand for more
church nursery, then at Kroger as "Seafood Captain" (ugh!). Afterwards, I started getting more serious about my life work, so I accepted a position as a physical therapist assistant, and moved up to start producing medical letters and appealing denials of insurance claims. I progressed from the PT field, when one of our patients helped me get hired at Dean Witter, a brokerage firm about to open an office in The Woodlands, Texas. There, I had the opportunity to get registered, and have progressively moved forward over the past 11 years, now working as a Branch Office Manager for Oppenheimer & Co.
